Chocolate peanut butter anything. Add a mix of textures... some crunch with some goo... and we've found perfection!
FLOWER
In my house I love a good bouquet; the perfect mix of colors and textures. It is a beauty I learned from my best friend... I think you've heard of her... her name is Melissa. But around every home we have landscaped, I have added a lilac bush and a home garden. The blooms that turn to yummy treats are probably my favorite kind!
ART
Music has always been the way I enjoy experiencing art the most. From plucking out tunes on the piano to memorizing the words to musical soundtracks, it speaks to my soul.
BUCK OR BEE
As an educator, I always tried to BUCK the system by caring for my students as humans first and students second. As a baker, I hope my intentionality remains the same; my mission is to BEE kind to each human I encounter.
MUST HAVE KITCHEN TOOL
An apron (because I am a messy chef!), a cookie scoop (used for so many things in addition to cookies!), and my kitchen scale!
I ALWAYS HAVE
A book on my nightstand, crumbs in the back seats of my car, a salty snack and hand sanitizer in my purse.
IN MY FREE TIME
Reading outside on a sunny day with a good snack and a cold beverage. Followed closely by a bike ride with the people I love and then a delicious meal that ends with dessert! (And someone else to do the dishes!)
